Hi i got a sony vaio model SVE1511AENB
When after recovery the window doesn’t function properly, problem are listed as
PS: I have tried rectifying by pressing ASIST button and had followed the required steps for several times. In my opinion the software that crush. Could you please provide me the linked for fresh downloading of the required full software for viao including the viao care too. I have tried downloading for sony forum support the vaio care. Thank you for your message. Are you looking for a Vaio recovery disc? This disc has the original operating system with all the drivers and software that came with your laptop. If you haven't modified your laptop, like changed the hard drive (HD) or clean install another operating system, then you may do a Full Reformat Recovery (FFR) using the hidden partition of the HD. If you already did any if these two (2) then you need to purchase a Vaio Recovery Disc from the country of origin.

I have a Sony Vaio model number PCG-61A14L.
My husband stepped on the edge the other day, so the screen is cracked in one of the upper left corner. It still functioned normally for two or three days, then today it froze. When I turned the computer back on, it stated Operating system not found, we usually use our hdmi cable to display my computer on our tv, but the cord doesnt sense a connection to the computer, so now I cant see anything else on the screen except for what would be the top two lines of text on a boot screen.
i made sure the harddrive was secure and was finally able to hit assist, but now I cant visually see where to go on the screen. Please help.

Tried to change Disk to fast SSD. Now PC is not booting anymore. Disk is recognized in BIOS but can not boot from it. Also when I install fresh OS - Windows is not booting from it - it stays black. I have looked for BIOS Update - but can find any one. Please help me - I think it is BIOS Issue.

Hi All,
I bought Sony VAIO laptop a year ago. Few months back my harddrive crashed and it was beyond repair. Since my laptop warranty expired the service center denied support unless paid for it. Hence, i choose to go with non authorized service centers, who configured a new harddrive on the machine. The original harddrive was broken and the support center guys could not recover data from it. As a result the "Assist" button is useless, because the assit file couldn't be recovered.
My question is:
1. Is there any way i can make "Assist" work again with the new harddrive, if yes kindly share the procedure ?
a. In this process will i get the default WIN 8 (Original Ver).
2. Can i completly del the "Assist" functionality from the machine ?
I am not good with laptops & configuring them. While installing WIN 7 through assist, i was unable to read the files from pendrive, DVD, CD etc. In future, if i have to restore my laptop or recover it, it would be quite a hassle without the assit button. If we cannot recover the functionality, i would like to remove the function completly & use it with ease, so that i can install any OS i want at any point.

I had a problem with my Kaspersky. I contacted the tech. support and they identified an incompability between Kaspersky and Intel Graphics 4000. They said that I should install the newest driver, but an error message has appeared saying that there was an incompability between Intel drivers and my computer.
I contacted Intel tech. support and they have identified a problem between the Intel Graphics Drivers and the computer manufacturer driver, which I suppose it's Vaio. So here I am.
Intel tech support said that the following link should help me, I did what it say but nothing had change.

No, Fn+F1 does not re-enable the touchpad in my case (SVF15n190x). Repeated Fn+F1 yields repeated popup messages of "Touchpad is Off". I don't know what will re-enable the disabled touchpad, but would like to know.
I also tried additional keys at the same time as Fn+F1: Fn+F1+Ctrl, Fn+F1+Alt, Fn+F1+Windows. Same non-useful results.

I would like to get some information about some importaте issue. Being a owner of the laptop Sony VAIO, i though that i would get an adequate upgrade of the hardway during the device support. Particularly the upgrade of the video-card and the device output driver. the market has extend the display 2k , 4k, but ther were not any support driver for the business version of laptops. at present time, while the product has been succesfully buoght by another company, i can't adrees to anyone to know about my support software either source of code for video-drivers to upgrade the settlement by myself.
i did my best to make the docking station and display work well, and i succefully reformed the resolution 2k for windows 8, but i faild to cutt off the docking station without switching off the computer. Today i use Windows 7 and would like to use full resolution on my display (monitor) and laptop. How to solve the problem of instalation of resolution monitor 2k on my laptop with docking station?
