This issue is probably the video card of the laptop. "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" is clearly saying that the driver is not communication well with either the LCD (hardware) or the operating system. You may follow my suggestions below:
- Reinstall update display driver: Go to Device manager > Display adapters > Double-click the name of the driver > Driver tab > Update driver.
- Run Vaio Update
- Run Windows Update.
