It is frustrating spending couple of days to get the solution on the similar scenario to create Recovery Media through VAIO Care and went through the similar situations as SaskiaV
Tried several stuff from the product support and 10's of downloads and waste of time nothing worked about.
Amusing is that I got the solution well explained away from the community what i was actually expected here. I hope it will be helpful for others suffering from same or similar situation.
With the solution now I am able to create recovery media from within my windows 10 OS upgraded from windows 8, The software is actually from SONY itself but I am not sure why they didn't explain anywhere this solution.
I hope people after me will not waste time on this ****** unresolved glitch from SONY VAIO to the model No. SVS13127PAB/SVS13127PXB
