Upgrading the graphic card driver can be performed if it's available. What we don't recommend is upgrading the graphic card hardware because we can't guarantee the outcome of the said upgrade. It may or may not work.
It may be possible to achieve what you mentioned above but Sony does not support or provide assistance for this. If you're not familiar with the process, you should get some help from experienced people, Sony service center or a trustworthy computer repair service in your area.
